Here's a list of Furcadia commands for your help and
reference. Note that when something in between <>
shows up, it's simply marking where you should enter
something, and you don't need to include those <>
surrounding it at all. ^_^
- /<furre name> <message>
- Whispers your message to the furre who's name you
specify. (That means no one can hear or see it but that
one furre)
- :<text>
- Turns the entered text into an action, as opposed
to your saying it. Therefore instead of appearing as
'Fana McCloud: runs.' it'd show as 'Fana McCloud runs.'
when turned into an action.
- -<text>
- Allows you to shout your message to everyone on
the map by typing '-<text>'. I urge you to not
shout on main maps or crowded dreams, it's very rude and
annoying.
- CTRL-W
- Lists the names of all furres on the current map,
and displays how many people total there are.
- CTRL-A
- Sends you to Allegria Island.
- CTRL-F
- Changes your font.
- CTRL-L
- Your character lays down.
- CTRL-S
- Sends you back to the Vinca nexus. (The place with
portals leading to the different areas of Furcadia)
- F8
- Hit this button to visit the last URL displayed on
your Furcadia screen in your default browser. ^_^
- F11
- Toggles between running/walking/no animation.
- eject
- To boot an unwanted visitor to your dream, type
'eject <furre name>'.
- share
- To share control of a dream with another furre,
type 'share <furre name>'. This allows them to be
able to eject players from the dream.
- emit
- Emits your message to everone around you, by
typing 'emit <text>'. It basically allows you to
say something without it showing your name or who said it
alongside. You must own the dream you're currently in to
do this.
- ignore
- If someone's babble is irriataing you, or they
just won't leave you alone, type 'ignore <furre
name>' to ignore them and not hear a word they say. Do
that again with the furre's name to turn it off. Typing
'ignore off' will turn off all ignores currently on your
ignore list.
- list ignores
- Lists all the people you're currently
ignoring.
- entrytext
- To set some text as perhaps a welcoming message to
your dream each time a furre enters, type 'entrytext
<text>'.
- entrymusic
- You set the music furres hear entering your dream
by typing 'entrymusic <number>'.
- `desc
- You can change your desc any time while in
Furcadia by typing '`desc <text>'. Take note that
the symbol before 'desc' is not a single quote ' but that
symbol on the same key as the wavy line ~. (It's next to
the 1 on the top of the keyboard)
- `wings
- Use this command to toggle your wings on and off
by typing quite simply '`wings'. That is assuming you've
bought wings, see the Furcadia website for info on this.
Take note that the symbol before 'wings' is not a single
quote ' but that symbol on the same key as the wavy line
~. (It's next to the 1 on the top of the keyboard)
